what’s (for) dinner?

roundtable, dinner
De Sering, Amsterdam [NL]
2023

How do the shape of the dinner table and our eating habits structure what, and how, we come to know? And in what ways might food and communal eating serve as engines for the production of “other knowledges” and, ultimately, for change?

We, a group of artistic research students, invited people engaged in diverse and social practices centred on food to join us around the dinner table, and to think along these questions with us.

about

Textile artist, researcher, and writer based in Amsterdam. I work with textiles and other material forms as a way of thinking and researching. I thereby treat these materials as tools to expose and unsettle taken-for-granted views and naturalized routines of daily life.
